My husband thought this piece represented Dali's hate for his wife. It was my husband's projection of his antipathy toward me; Dali never said that https://3rdeyedrops.wordpress.com/2010/05/29/salvador-dali-one-second-before-awakening-from-a-dream-caused-by-the-flight-of-a-bee-around-a-promegranate-1944/ She lies there, peaceful, undisturbed by the tigers and the bayonet (bee). She is aware of her own power and has no fear of them. In our dreams, we become the creatures and people in them, and play all the roles. You are the tiger. You are the snow leopard. You are the mother protecting her children. You are powerful. Never forget that. xoxo
