My baby draws angry lines on paper, on walls, on her thighs, on anything she is fast enough to get her pens onto before we can stop her. The paper, perforated by the lines, tear in places, but mostly, the smoothness gets agitated by the force of the tips of her stationery. The walls, tattooed on with her strokes begs for a repainting my pockets can’t afford to entertain right now. Her thighs need vigorous scrubs every time we shower. It is apparent that the soap is we use is too mild for the ink.
Is she trying to say something through her drawings? Is she even drawing?
